As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming and empathetic
space to help clients on their healing journey towards wholeness. I am a
person-centered therapist and work with clients to develop an individual
wellness plan to help them integrate all aspects of their lives including
spirituality. As a retired teacher I draw from a wealth of 30 years teaching
experience as well as personal life experiences. I integrate techniques from various therapeutic modalities from an attachment and interpersonal lens. I accompany clients in the exploration of feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations with compassion, respecting each client’s personal journey. I work with older teenagers and adults who are experiencing feelings of anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, stress, grief, loss and burnout. I also accompany clients who are struggling with personal life changes, family of origin, relationship and existential issues as well as those who have experienced trauma. I am a graduate of the M.A. program at St. Paul University in Counselling and Spirituality.
